The Ratings, Codes, and Standards (RCS) Committee provides assistance to jurisdictions, national model codes and standards developers, green building policies, and voluntary programs about obtaining fair, accurate, and credible radiative performance ratings through the use of CRRC programs and standards.

The RCS Committee is responsible for:

  • Promoting the acceptance, use, or adoption of the CRRC Product Rating Programs (CRRC-1 Roof and CRRC-2 Wall) and ANSI/CRRC S100 standard through education and outreach to jurisdictions, national model codes and standards developers, and program administrators

  • Expanding partnerships with end-users of the CRRC Product Rating Program and/or ANSI/CRRC S100 standard standard

  • Developing proposals for referencing the CRRC Product Rating Program and/or ANSI/CRRC S100 standard

The RCS Committee meets as often as is necessary to fulfill its responsibilities. Meetings are held virtually.

Seeking Members!

The CRRC is currently seeking members to join the RCS Committee. Candidates should be familiar with model energy codes, cool roof policies, and green building programs at the local, state, and/or national level.

Individuals who are interested in joining the RCS Committee must submit a short summary of their qualifications and expertise to Sarah Schneider at [email protected]. Committee appointments will be made by the Board of Directors. Candidates must be CRRC members by the time of their appointment to the RCS Committee.
