Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 DOE
Primary Site: 2435 N. Lombard St., Portland, OR 97217
Occasional remote work a possibility
The Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) is currently seeking a full-time (40 hrs/week) Administrative Coordinator. We are a non-profit organization established in 1998 that rates the energy performance of roofing and wall products, supports technical research, and educates the public about the impacts of cool surfaces. We are a small, tight-knit team that operates out of an office in North Portland. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who is excited to learn and grow with the organization. The Administrative Coordinator will primarily work in the office, but may occasionally work remotely.
The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for:
Organizing meeting and event logistics
Answering program questions by phone and email
Working with the finance team to pay bills and reconcile expenses
Maintaining the CRRC office (e.g., ordering office supplies; coordinating building repairs, etc.)
Coordinating the CRRC’s annual Board election process
Overseeing the CRRC’s label and logo compliance program
Supporting colleagues on various program activities
Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
At least three years of related experience performing administrative duties
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and handle competing priorities with minimal guidance
Ability to think critically and solve problems
Strong attention to detail and error-free work
Demonstration of initiative, flexibility, accountability, and ownership of assigned tasks
Excellent customer service skills
Commitment to learning and growing professionally with the organization
Proficiency with computer software, particularly with Google G Suite, Mac OS, and Microsoft Office
Desired Experience (Not Mandatory)
Proficiency with accounting principles and software (e.g., QuickBooks)
Familiarity with website content management and maintenance
Familiarity with newsletter layout and development
