The Cool Roof Rating Council was created in 1998 to develop accurate and credible methods for evaluating and labeling the solar reflectance and thermal emittance (radiative properties) of roofing products and to disseminate the information to all interested parties.
The CRRC is a member-based non-profit organization. Members can help direct the CRRC and its Product Rating Program, vote on committee issues, and more.
The CRRC Board of Directors approved a new Random Testing Policy document at the November 2014 Board of Directors meeting. These changes will take effect beginning January 1, 2015. Click here to view the updated procedure.
