YEARS FOUNDED / YEARS IN INDUSTRY: 1983

YEARS OF CRRC MEMBERSHIP: 14

Why did your organization become a CRRC member?

The IIBEC members are directly affected by the influence that the CRRC has on the industry due to our work on the building enclosure. Being a member of CRRC is a benefit to all IIBEC members.

How has CRRC membership been of value to you / your organization?

By being involved, we can keep our members current on the future of the Cool Roof (and wall) initiative(s) and trends in the industry. As building enclosure consultants, our members need to know what is required and what the Client may benefit from.

Describe what you / your organization provides to your industry/sector:

IIBEC is an international association of professionals who specialize in roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall specification and design. IIBEC offers top-quality, comprehensive building enclosure education, advocates for sustainable, high-performance buildings, and offers seven highly respected industry-wide credentials.

What is the most encouraging thing you see for the future of your industry/sector?

The amount of new construction continues to rise! This puts more buildings into the built environment which provides more need for building enclosure consultants.
